Waterbury News Network (WNN) exists to provide honest, timely, and relevant local journalism that informs, empowers, and unites the people of Waterbury. We are committed to truth, accountability, and amplifying the voices of our community.
Our History
Waterbury News Network began with two friends — one choosing to remain unnamed — who believed their community deserved stronger, more accessible local news. What started as a small act of service Founded in 2024 has grown into a 30‑member volunteer newsroom, each person giving their time to ensure no resident is left without reliable news, weather, or sports.
